I am a painter, graphic designer and creative director with over 25 years of experience.

I love mixing colors. From choosing the base paints to capture a particular mood, to finalizing a composition by deciding the final color needed to ground the piece, I delight in the entire process. It’s a form of meditation. When everything is visually balanced, it’s like an instrument being tuned – there is harmony.

My subject matter rangers from structured and architectural – I call these pieces houses, or cities - to lose gestural abstracts, which I call gardens. There is a tension between rational and intuitive, right and left, conscious and unconscious. Coloring between the lines or having no lines at all. Depends on the day.

I divide my energies between making personal work which is represented on this site, and a professional career as a creative director for an international digital design group. Both vocations are equally rewarding.
